Summer is flying by isn't it? Before it goes any faster I'm packing the kids up and heading to the jersey shore for an impromptu mommy's only trip (but with the kids included, it really translates into "no daddy's allowed"). I'll miss my McDreamy (and his cooking) but I'll be meeting up with my best friend and her kids who have a home on the beach. A perfect plan to Ctrl-Alt-Del a much needed re-boot.
Her text message said 3 small words which told me everything only a friend of 27 years could understand. Right then, I knew I needed to drop everything and go be at her side.. so my text back was: "I'm on my way, don't flip any tables,... or at least wait until I get there"
So we're all set for sand, surf, fun and sunset cocktails, and squeezing in a trip to a Barnes & Noble to make a scene in the aisles if my book is there...omg I'm told it's on the store shelves already, I'll keep you posted via Twitter ! -xo T
