Imagination...
I went inside to grab a scarf and heard so many voices coming from the necessary patio I thought that some of the neighborhood kids had magically appeared as they usually do. I peeked out my office window to find that it was just our girl, alone, playing school, reading a book to the "class" walking around and taking questions from her imaginary students. It was a moment where I usually tell my Mom the story, after the fact, over the phone and she always shouts "why didn't you take a picture?" So this time, camera in hand, I snapped a shot of the "classroom" and the fabulous teacher at work. The only thing missing were her legendary high heels

Oh I love this Tara! The pictures really capture her and I can just imagine hearing her teaching her students! Too cute!!! Did you then call your mom and tell her you took photos?!

I'm so glad you captured this for us. Such imagination & so adorbale! Reminds me of when my kathryn was little & how she was the instructor in the front yard with the imaginary horses & the jumps she had her dad set up for her!!LOL!!! When your girl is older she will deny she ever did this you know!LOL!!!

So Sweet! I apparently used to 'teach' my stuffed animals when I was little. And now I'm a violin teacher :)

What an imaginative child. Does she like to create to? Bella sits right beside me when I am making things and tells her friends she is a "designer". I think we are doing something right.
Thanks for the sweet reminder.

awww, that's so sweet. I remember doing that when I was little. I would round up all the neighborhood kids and I would have them look up words in some old dictionary we had laying around. I don't think they came back. I was just reading about Bucks County in Country Living..it looks like such a neat and beautiful place to live...with all that history. I bet fall is just gorgeous!

So adorable! I love a child's imagination. My daughter used to sell her art in our hallway for $1, and now she sales her art in real life. Hmm, I wonder if you have a teacher or college professor on your hands.

Very sweet Tara. I remember my Mom catching my Sisters and I teaching school to our baby dolls quite often. How awesome that you captured the moment.

How sweet. I'm a teacher of young children and they love to play teacher. Sometimes it cracks me up to hear them imitating Me.
Oh, you are so lucky to have a landscaper for a husband. I wish I could borrow him. It's hard to find someone truly creative.

My 7 year old daughter does this in her room. She can really make up some conversations. What a beautiful patio.

First of all, what a beautiful "office view". Second, this observation and these pretty pictures sure would make a great scrapbook page.

Those are the most wonderful moments, aren't they? When you watch their imaginations at play and they are completely unaware. Lovely photos Tara - thanks for sharing such a sweet moment :~)
