Fashion Friday part 2...
I put together this mosaic to hang up for visual reference for my weekend project....does anybody really wear these? However, when they are put together like this they remind me of cupcakes!...Chock full of inspiration in every little detail... thought I would share with all of you couture divas! Ok, back to work! ~xo

I'd love to wear one, in a big fancy ball. Wouldn't that be fun! They are gorgeous!

Fancy and beautiful to look at. Like old vintage and period movies that never go out of style.

I see you were able to capture some of my time spent on the runway. They said I was a chameleon because I looked different in every picture. ;O)

Wow Tara - you found some gorgeous photos. I love vintage gowns and corsets - a time when clothes was all about the detail and layers of fabric and trim. No skin ever showed but women had such a sophisticated sex appeal.

I can't think of anyone wearing them for real. But you are right about them being chockful of inspiration! I believe this is how certain designs show up in Macy's and K-Mart...little bits of things that have trickled down to us 'normal folks' after the designers take a peek at Paris Haute Couture!

These are just gorgeous pictures. Such a great collection is really inspiring to look at - every little picture creates it's own fantasy, but together they can take you anywhere.
Thank you Tara, your blog really inspires me and I visit often to escape into a girly world (away from my home with my darling hubby and 3 litttle boys under 8).
Happy New Year to you and your lovely family that you so generously share with us!! Thank You!
