All Tuckered Out

Just coming off a busy weekend and headed for even busier weeks ahead.  This Friday we have another performance from our little girl and her Summer dance troop and our son is in the junior golf tournament over at our golf club the same day, that should be fun juggling the two events!  Also, my brother's wedding is coming up fast too!  7-27 to be exact, it will be loads of fun for sure and I have so many things to do yet!  When that is over, we can rest a bit with a much needed vacation to the beach...and possibly squeeze in a quick trip to New York City after that.

The boys came back (in one piece) with lots of tales from their camping trip.  My son jumped in the shower and took a snooze as soon as his head hit the pillow.  I'm still washing the dirty clothes, praying my washer survives!Blog_625

Us girls had a fabulous weekend of shopping, dinners, staying up late watching movies, and celebrating my niece getting her official drivers license (she only had her permit before) and the test was on Friday the 13th no less!  Here she is all proud showing it off.  Notice the Wriskey™ keychain? lol  Now she has freedom in her little convertible, driving around town picking up her friends.  Wait till she has to fill up her gas tank...that will change REAL quick!

It also was our job to take care of "daddy's plants & garden" while he was camping...I think we did a good job!

Here is a shot of  a small portion of the back patio with a glimpse of the carriage house to the left (or glorified extra garage!)  The 2nd floor is finished into office space, 1st floor is the workshop.

Toooo cute, Tara! I love the boots!!! Becky

I read this part "It also was our job to take care of "daddy's plants & garden" while he was camping" and the picture below it was just the flowers with the uhh...tree-ish thing (I know - my plant knowledge is astounding...LOL) and I thought 'Not too hard of a job...' and then I saw the rest of the pictures...'Ohhhhhhh' LOL I need more coffee. Reading of your busy week ahead, you may need more coffee, too... ;-)

What a babydoll!

Bonjour Tara! I have wanted to write to you since I first saw your beautiful blog. It has been an inspiration to me. But, I was so intent in getting my own blog going that I failed to let you know how very much I appreciate what you did for me. If it was not for your help and Shawn's "fabulousfifi" would never have come to be. You so unselfishly shared your knowledge, sense of style and time with humor and grace! Even on the 4th of July when you were busy with your family you took the time to answer all my silly and ignorant emails! It's amazing how, in spite of the fact that we have never met, you made me feel as if we were life-long friends. For encouraging me to go ahead with my blog, your priceless help and endless kindness I thank you. You defintively are my "blog mentor", my friend and my inspiration.

Tara...I so enjoy reading your blog! Sounds like you all had a fantastic weekend...love your yard, so pretty!

Tara honey, I don't know why all the MMP members continually look for a site/location for a future get together...it seems posh hotels have nothing over you!! Do you think you can accomodate a hundred or so over night guests?? I'll be first in line!!

Best Wishes,
Britta
