He Cleans Up Nice!
I am used to seeing my 10 year old all muddy from riding his quad or dirty from an intense game of basketball with the neighborhood kids...well here he is all shiny and spiffed up for his Violin concert! Yep....I said violin concert!...this from a kid who loves sports, being outside, exploring in the woods, finding frogs in our waterfall..etc.. He really wanted to play violin with his school's orchestra this year . However, he has other motives. ...you see...in order to play guitar or drums at the school, you must take one year of violin! So he has the year under his belt and now is free to play the drums next year...oy! the noise! I was just getting used to the sounds of the squeaky violin

Ahhh, Tara he is SO handsome! Both of your children are adorable! Have fun with the drums - mine used to fill the house with his electric guitar "jams"! ;-)

Very handsome!
My son (17) is in a band and plays bass guitar, and you get used to the noise (they've practiced here). It's really loud but it's REALLY FUN too! And I get to be a groupie at the age of..... um 30 plus a few.

how precious. don't you just want to smack his picture up on a billboard and say, "look at my darling, amazing, wonderfully clean son!"...it's nice that he dreams and thinks about something he's interested in doing...even if it is loud, some kiddos just sit around and play video games all day and that's just fine with them and their parents. thanks for sharing. i love, love your blog. blessings. happy mother's day.

What a CUTIE!!! FYI: I just happen to have a 10 year old daughter....and she likes the drums, her Daddy plays.
As a matter of fact, he is playing right now and it is a bit noisy (I'm sure the neighbors are loving us).
I can't wait to see pics of your son sitting at a set of drums, how dreamy.
