It was such a beautiful warm day, my daughter and I made chocolate covered strawberries. Her favorite part was melting the chocolate and licking the spoon..they turned out pretty darn good!
Trying to catch up shipping items from the boutique, I've been so busy and they seem to be piling up. I plan to spend the day in bubble wrap! (eating chocolate covered strawberries too!)
It was so nice to get to the flea market this weekend and get some fresh air. We found some great items recently listed in the boutique
It's here! Romantic Country Magazine. What a lovely issue...jam packed with all things romantic and chic. Love seeing my friends at Make Mine Pink featured. I am EXTRA fond of a little blurb on Page 4....little old me made it into the magazine as a listed contributor, for which I feel so honored. It's a wonderful magazine and I enjoy working with the editor, Barbara Jacksier, and tickled pink she surprised me with this! I look forward to contributing more products, homes, people & places in the upcoming issues, stay tuned!

I caught my daughter yesterday, dressed up in my mother's high heels (very ugly I might add!) 
Standing outside the house with an umbrella (it wasn't raining!) waiting for her big brother to get home from school. What a site for the neighbors! I decided to make a quick digi scrap from Shabby Miss Jenn
I am playing around with my photos. I love the look of Black & White and some color popping through..of course I chose pink for this one! Still learning, but it's fun to experiment :)
The new issue of Home Companion is out, love it! Lots of great articles to get you in the Spring mood. My favorite page, however, is page 89... Bella Pink's boutique along with my friends at Make Mine Pink! Also love the party featured on page 46 "Paper Swoon"
Joyce did a great job on the ad. I'm sure it will bring lots of traffic to our boutiques!
Isn't she adorable? That's our niece, Faith. We framed it out of old salvaged shutters and will give it to her Daddy to hang up in his rustic, saloon style bar he is building in his home. My hubby came home today after seeing it and said he has great pictures of his 3 boys hanging up (doing "cowboy" stuff like riding motorbikes, fishing, etc..) but no pictures of his baby girl yet! So we made the rustic frame to go with the "saloon" !
Other news, we have finally added our beautiful Pillows and Slipcovers in the boutique! It took me all weekend, but I have them almost 100% ready to go. Diane, our textile artist, did a fabulous job. Stop by when you get a chance to see her handy work! I named all the pillows after family members and some of my favorite names, it was a lot of fun, I felt like I was getting to name a dozen "babies"!
We said goodbye to my parents who left for Key West for the month. Here is their adorable two story cottage
right in the heart of Old Towne Key West, so secluded and private with lush gardens... couldn't you just picture yourself sitting there by the pool drinking a margarita? I hope to be blogging from there soon, giving you complete details, of course!

I will be listing beautiful handpainted signs from our talented artist, Michelle Owen. They are painted on recycled wood, lush painted roses and all lettering is by hand. They are truly gorgeous!
